The new 2021 Ford Bronco

There has been a lot of talk about the 2021 Ford Bronco release date, especially since it’s been 24 years since the last Ford Bronco rolled off the assembly line. Though Ford is still calling the new Bronco a 2020 release, multiple outlets are now reporting that the Bronco will be hitting dealer lots so late in 2020 that it will count as a 2021 release. Considering Bronco fans have waited this long, we’re sure they’d rather wait a little longer for a Bronco that is as tough and fun as the original.
Ford says the new Bronco will be a real, no-compromise, body-on-frame 4×4 built to take on some of the toughest terrains. Ford also told dealers the Bronco will be available at every retailer at launch since the off-roader is one of the most anticipated new models of the year.
We expect the SUV to come standard with four-wheel drive and feature exterior styling inspired by the previous generation models. It will offer notable features like solid front and rear axles and an “Air Roof.” Patents for the door-removal system show a set of latches, a far simpler solution than the hinges on the Wrangler’s doors, which require tools to take off.
Like its predecessors, the 2021 Ford Bronco will be offered in two- and four-door configurations. In addition to the standard Bronco, Ford will also add a smaller off-road-oriented unibody crossover called the Bronco Sport. We’ve recently learned that the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport will be AWD only, and has 1.5- and 2.0- liter engines. The order form also dropped the Bronco Sport’s color palette, which will include either a black or gray roof, along with Alto Blue Metallic, Area 51, Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, Cyber Orange Metallic, Iconic Silver, Kodiak Brown, Oxford White, Rapid Red Metallic, and Shadow Black.
There will be a number of customization options, too, including convenience items liked six-way power-adjustable seats, remote start, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wireless device charging, and reverse park sensors.
The launch was expected to take place at the 2020 NY Auto Show. We’re not sure when either model will be released, but the probability seems more likely that Ford might unveil the car digitally, and have one on display at the show when it takes place in August.
The cherry on top of all this nostalgia is the fact that the new 2021 Ford Bronco will roll off the same assembly line in Wayne, Michigan, where its predecessors were built for decades.

The 2020 Ford Explorer

One of the most common questions asked about the Explorer is: Does the Ford Explorer have 3rd row seating?
It used to mean that buying a 7-seat SUV meant giving up luxury. That’s changed in the last few years, and Ford has led the way with the Explorer, which has become the best-selling 3-row SUV in the US. Lighter, leaner, roomier, the 2020 Ford Explorer has been fully redesigned, and largely thanks to its new platform, the new Explorer drives far better and has a more pleasant interior. Ford engineers say that the rear-drive chassis brings a newfound sense of balance thanks to its improved weight distribution, and they’re right.
The front seats are spacious and comfortable and offer a good view of the road. The rear seats have a decent amount of legroom for a midsize SUV, and there’s enough room in the third row for two adults. For securing child safety seats, there are two complete sets of LATCH connectors in the second row and two complete sets in the third row.
Standard features in the Explorer include:
- SYNC 3 infotainment system
- an 8-inch touch screen
- Apple CarPlay
- two front-row USB ports
- two second-row USB ports
- Wi-Fi hot spot
- tri-zone automatic climate control
- push-button start and remote start
Optional features include:
- 10.1-inch touch screen with a portrait layout
- 12.3-inch customizable driver display
- 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system
- household-style power outlet
- twin-panel moonroof
So in conclusion, YES! The 2020 Explorer has three comfortable rows of seating! Both the second and third row have two complete sets of the LATCH system! This is a great car for those seeking a luxury SUV and those who want room for the whole family!
